First aid for bikes

Need to mend a flat tire? OK. But it's difficult if you don't have any tools and need to get going again quickly. We now have just the solution at DB Station&Service – with mobile repair stations that offer first aid for bicycles. Located in our station buildings, they feature bicycle pumps and all the tools you need to quickly fix your bike, wheelchair or stroller.

At some stations we already have implemented repair stations, like in Darmstadt, Wiesbaden or Cottbus. It is planned that the repair stations will be soon part of the standard offer at many other train stations throughout Germany. This service is provided free of charge as we want to make it easier for our customers to use their bicycles more often and thus protect the environment.

Park in the morning, ready in the evening

With our new repair service DB Radfix, cyclists can also drop off their defective bike at the station in the morning and pick it up repaired in the evening. Whether it's an inspection of the gears, a change of brake pads or a repair of the lights - the desired service can be easily booked at bahnhof.de/radfix (only in available in german).

Cyclists can use the new bicycle repair service at the pilot locations Berlin Südkreuz, Karlsruhe, Freiburg and Hamburg Bergedorf.

In the future, we want to offer the DB bike repair service at other stations in Germany. By making cycling more convenient, we are promoting the climate-friendly combination of bikes and trains.
